Future brides and grooms were likely keeping a keen eye out over the weekend, with the return of the UK’s largest wedding show to Manchester city centre.
There were over 170 specialists at the National Wedding Show to demonstrate what they can provide to couples planning their nuptials. The event took place at the Manchester Central Convention Complex between 10am and 5pm over the course of Saturday and Sunday.
Those couples who are in the early stages of their preparation may have examined the variety of wedding venues on display and, naturally, those looking for wedding photography packages in Manchester and beyond will have attended.
In a feature published in the build-up to the event, Hello! magazine recommended that readers see the jewellery of Rachel Simpson, Daphne Rosa and Crystal Heirlooms, or try on the dresses of Zaeem Jamal, Mode Bridal, Ivory & Co and Pure Couture.
A host of stalls were set up for those simply looking for inspiration, with examples of the newest hairstyles and bridal nail makeup available for attendees to browse, as well as flowers and those little finishing touches such as invites, gifts, decor and favours all being on show to help couples plan their happy day.
Pre-booked tickets were £15 for one day for an adult, while the on-the-day entrance fee was £20, so couples planning to visit were advised to book early in order to make a small saving. There were also VIP tickets priced at £35, which came with a free gift box and complimentary glass of champagne.
There was a 24-hour parking facility nearby for those attending by car, and nearby train and bus stations for those attending via public transport.
