Friends star Courtney Cox recently revealed to People magazine that her daughter is likely to get up and sing a few tunes at her upcoming wedding to partner Johnny McDaid.
She revealed that 11-year-old Coco loved nothing more than getting up on stage and singing some songs in front of people, as she also did at her dad David Arquette’s wedding to his partner Christina McLarty.
However, she will have to ensure that she hits all the right notes, as Cox is marrying a musician herself. McDaid is a member of Snow Patrol, so she will have some high standards to live up to.
Cox said of her daughter:
“I could request something, but I actually wouldn’t have a choice. That kid loves to sing. Everything from Barbara Streisand to Cee Lo. She’s actually really, really talented. Coco sang a song for the film I directed called Just Before I Go and she’s amazing.”
The star said that the happy couple were still in the process of planning their wedding, and were open to ideas about how it should go. Although, given McDaid and Coco’s musical proclivities, it appears that tunes will feature strongly.
Whatever they choose to do on their special day, they will no doubt hire a top wedding photographer. Manchester is itself a city with a rich musical history, so perhaps McDaid, who was born and raised in Northern Ireland, can persuade the Friends star to have their wedding in this beautiful city.
