Australian couple Marlee and Jordan Follman decided to try something a little different for their special day by booking a mobile tattoo van, so that they and 15 of their guests could commemorate the happy occasion in a lasting way.
The couple, who met while they were both at university, were no strangers to body art. Marlee spoke of the reasons behind the unusual wedding service:
“Both Jordan and I had tattoos before we met each other, and have covered ourselves more since then so it was really a part of ourselves.”
It was no problem for the couple to celebrate in a way that was special to both of them, using tattoos as a symbol of their love for each other.
Perhaps what is especially endearing, however, is that 15 of their close family and friends joined in to celebrate with them by getting matching tattoos.
The idea of using a tattoo artist may not be to everyone’s taste, but it alludes to an emerging trend within the wedding industry and the additional indulgences that are often provided by the organisers of the happy day.
Regardless of whether this takes the form of tattoos or something simpler, such as a sweetie cart, or perhaps a quirky photo booth, a professional wedding photographer from Cheshire or the surrounding area will be able to utilise whatever is on show, perfectly reflecting the happy day in the photos that are taken.
