When it comes to recording the special day of two people being joined in matrimony, it is normally a professional wedding photographer who is called upon to do so. The Daily Mail, however, has reported that for one couple, their wedding party was caught on camera by the Google street view car and can be seen by anyone who checks the reception location online.
The happy bride, named as Theresa Egan, can be seen in full wedding attire outside the Firkin Doghouse pub, with other guests celebrating her special day.
It’s not the first time that the Street View camera has hit the news, with the technology capturing a wide variety of weird and wonderful behaviour by the general public. Now that the car is becoming recognised more, many have taken the opportunity to revel in the possibility of getting themselves on the Street View map. For Theresa though, it appears merely a happy coincidence, with the wedding party naturally focused on the celebrations rather than the traffic.
Rather than planning a wedding around the movements of the Google Street View car, of course it’s advisable to take no chances with the photographs recording the day that most couples will spend a lifetime looking back upon. Certainly, a professional wedding photographer from Liverpool or the neighbouring area will be able to skilfully document the day in perhaps a more appropriate manner.
While Google will remove these photos every three years or so, a tastefully done wedding book by a respected photographer will be treasured for many more years to come.
