Sam & Stephen took full advantage of the Liverpool Themed Wedding Venue.
This Beatles inspired hotel, the Hard Days Night Hotel is located in the heart of Liverpool’s ‘Beatles Quarter’ and where Samantha & Steven held their wedding. The restored grade II listed building, which dates back to 1884, is now a stunning 4 Star hotel. Situated opposite to the world famous Cavern Club and an array of Beatles landmarks and history, this venue offers luxury with a twist.
The morning of their wedding, they both felt surprisingly relaxed, excited as they just hoped everything was going to run smoothly. After being together for over 14 years, Sam said she couldn’t wait to marry her childhood sweetheart. Ste couldn’t wait to see Sam in her dress – as he’d been hearing about it for the past 9 months!!
Sam went to a number of Bridal boutiques and nothing ticked all the boxes until she found her dress at BHS and said it was a perfect fit and was just meant to be. She decided not to go with a high heel as she didn’t want to end up over towering Ste. The Bridesmaids dresses were chosen from Coast and they went together very well. Their flowers were actually silk as Sam wanted to have them as a keepsake. Inspirational Wholesale Bromborough had them made up months in advance. Whilst the hotel provided flowers for the top table and ceremony room.
Between Sam, her mum and sister they made all the decorations for the venue, including the table plan, card box, sweets and accessories. The table cards were song sheets for Beatles love songs to keep that Beatles Themed Weddin. The top table was ‘And I Love Her’. The personalised favours for the ladies were ‘Wedding Day’ Yankee Candles which seemed to go down a treat.
I asked them what was their most memorable part of their day. Sam said having her father give her away and seeing Ste for the first time. Ste got a little emotional when seeing Sam walk down the isle. During their first dance they looked at each other and knew, all this hard work was worth it for such a fabulous day.
I asked them what they thought about my service as a wedding photographer and they replied ” All the planning and preparation, including the engagement shoot, were spot on. You we’re fabulous on the day and we didn’t notice you were there, which allowed for more natural shots. Thanks again”.
