Heaton House Farm Wedding

Heaton House Farm Wedding in this barn themed wedding venue in Cheshire, an urban farm wedding venue nestled out of the way in fields. A perfect venue for any Cheshire wedding photographer to attend.

“It was the perfect setting,” says Danielle. “He proposed on Christmas eve with our two kids there. I was so surprised and couldn’t have asked for anything more.”
The happy couple soon started making plans for their nuptials, setting the date for 9th June, 2017 at the gorgeous Heaton House Farm.

“I was in tears when we walked through the door of our venue, it was everything we wanted before we’d even added our own personal touches,” recalls the bride. “We knew it was where we had to get married.”

SETTING THE SCENE

White, silver and glitter was the theme that tied their day together. “We used a fantastic company called Venue Perfection for our styling,” says Danielle. “We had chandeliers, candelabras and floating candles to add some sparkle. We also hung crystals and fairylights from trees, while white and silver bunting added an extra shimmer.”

Danielle’s mum recommended The Flower Rooms near Warrington. “Our blooms were exactly what I’d envisaged – and I can be a little bit fussy!” remembers the bride.

Danielle enlisted the help of a local lady called Sandra to provide all of her stationery. “Everything from the invitations to the table plan was so pretty. Our favours were an envelope with a poem and a scratchcard inside,” says Danielle.

They were keen to remember loved ones on their special day. “The venue let us set up a memory table with butterflies, candles and a photo of my dad who sadly passed away three years ago.”

LOOKING THE PART

Danielle wore the Pronovias dress Mariana, which she purchased from Eternity Bridalwear, but it wasn’t the style she was expecting. “I had a totally different look in mind but when I tried my dress on I knew it was the one,” recalls the bride. “I accessorised it with a tiny Swarovski crystal bracelet, Canadian Ice diamond earrings and a stunning necklace that Craig gave me on the eve of our nuptials.”

To keep with the elegant look of the day the groom and his groomsmen sported black dinner suits.

“Craig had a custom- made shirt from Whitfield & Ward in Wilmslow – he looked so handsome,” says Danielle. The bridesmaids’ dresses were not so easy to find. “I wanted my girls to have long sleeves. After trawling the shops to no avail we decided to have them made. We opted for a Grecian-style with a lace top in dusky pink – my best girls looked gorgeous!” The couple’s daughter wore a princess-style dress with crystal straps and butterfly shoes to match her mum.

TIME TO CELEBRATE

After the all-important vows the couple entertained guests with a photo booth. “It was a big hit with our friends and a real ice breaker – I love looking at the images now,” says the bride. There was a DJ in the evening to get the congregation up partying, all fuelled by a delicious sweet cart.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS

Danielle enjoyed the morning of their wedding, chilling out and having her hair and make-up done with her friends and family, “I did get a bit emotional just before I was due to walk down the aisle though,” remembers the bride. “I was told by Craig’s groomsmen that he was really nervous!”

The couple were keen to have their children involved in their special day. “They read out a poem that they’d written for us with their nanny,” says Danielle. “It was a total surprise and a really emotional moment.”

Overall, the couple knew they couldn’t have done it without some fantastic suppliers. “Nicola and Jo from the venue really went above and beyond to make our day beautiful,” recalls the newlywed. “Our photographer Matthew, what can I say? He was amazing from start to finish and captured some incredible memories. We felt like we’d known him for years.”

A TOUCH OF R&R

Celebrations continued after the big day with a luxurious trip to Miami and the Bahamas. “It was the best honeymoon, we felt like we were in paradise,” says Danielle.♥
